NYC Business Network Launched
May 22nd, 2011Ironpaper just launched the NYC Business Network .org, which will serve as a promotional and marketing vehicle for NYC businesses, business events, conferences and press releases.
The website offers a member’s directory, which will provide buyers an easy way to select a NYC vendor initially within the fields of IT & Computers, Internet & eCommerce, Marketing & Creative, Business and Professional Services, along with other business member listings including Non-profits, Art and Culture, and Retail & Products. More categories should be available within the network soon.
The NYC business network also offers a free event submission service for business-related events within New York. This service will be free only for a limited period of time. Paid submission will be available afterwards.
Additionally, the network supports Press Release distribution within it’s NYC Business News section. A public submission form will be available sometime in June, which will allow businesses and Government representatives to submit press releases on behalf of their organizations.
The design of the website was intended to be very bold and rely heavily on text as a design-structural element. Essentially, it is an information intensive website with a more edgy-design appeal.
