Web design for the iPhone and Mobile Technologies
Mobile devices that browse and interact with the web are becoming more and more popular. iPhones have now taken the mobile web into a new landscape of possibilities, making it simpler and easier to experience the internet from your phone. Not all page design produced for normal laptops and desktops will work or display properly for mobile devices.
There are two common routes for approaching page design for the mobile web: 1.) All mobile traffic be directed to a unique, mobile-safe web destination, or 2.) Page structure will differ from normal screens to mobile screen devices by loading a seperate set of stylistic tools, such as a CSS file prepared specifically for mobile devices. Selecting the appropriate method depends largely on the design in questions and the tools used in the web pages.
The end game, of course, is to provide a seemless and comfortable user experience that translates naturally from the regular screen to the mobile screen.
