According to a study by vSplash that audited of 3.9 million US small and medium business websites, approximately 26.4% of SMBs are no where to be seen web searches due to the fact that SMB websites earn a Google Page Rank of zero or have no Google Page Rank.

The audit by vSplash documented a series of deficiencies with small business websites for search engine optimization. Researchers, based on the audit, see this as a huge opportunity for web marketing agencies. These deficiencies could translate into a $24.3 billion revenue opportunity for digital marketing firms.

SMBs are challenged to capitalize on mobile and social commerce opportunities. This represents a significant opportunity for the digital media and marketing services providers that can help SMBs bring their digital presence up to best-practice standards. vSplash
