Skyword released the results of new study that found that nearly half of their participants have a formal content marketing strategy. Yet, of this group, only 25 percent are measuring the results of their social media content marketing efforts.

The study contained the results of 217 participants from CRM Magazine and EContent Magazine's readership, focusing on content marketing trends.

The study found that 68 percent of respondents claimed that engaging customers and prospects was the primary goal of their content marketing efforts. 37% of the respondents claim that their organization is working on developing content marketing programs.

The study also found that 48% say their content marketing efforts has resulted in increased engagement with customers and leads, and 41% from the survey are experiencing a measurable increase in brand awareness.
