Ironpaper is hiring a senior-level market researcher to focus on research, qualitative analysis, (possibly some quantitative analysis), presentations and writing projects for B2B companies.
As a B2B marketing agency, Ironpaper is charged with building campaigns, creating content, and improving B2B marketing programs in order to drive more sales leads. To do this, we need to understand buyer needs, market forces, and industry challenges.
This role will focus on improving our subject matter expertise through interviews with sales teams, conducting research, messaging maps, documentation of market forces, and other exercises that improve how we position our clients to be relevant to their target buying groups.
Our clients are B2B companies in the high technology space. The most common categories are traditional IT, emerging IT, software as a service (SaaS), cloud/data, cybersecurity, energy, and digital transformation.
This role will focus on conducting client interviews to better understand their sales process and product offering, conducting research, documenting key takeaways, educating our team on market force changes, leading seminars and workshops, writing articles and reporting, creating positioning statements, analyzing data, and presenting to clients. Rather than engaging in a long-term, slow-moving research project, this role will allow for multiple, smaller projects at one time. You will have the freedom to explore ideas, be creative, and turn your ideas into tangible campaigns, strategies, and content.
