Web Developer - New York

We are looking for a full-time web developer to help with website development projects.

The developer should be well versed in mobile responsive web development, PHP and Wordpress, including CSS, HTML and javascript (or JQuery). Must be skilled in writing clean, efficient code and a strong understanding of the WordPress CMS.

Skills should include a strong sense of UX from a coding perspective and experience with contemporary frontend development standards: create clean, beautiful and contemporary style websites. We are seeking a web developer that understands Wordpress best-practices and is a Bootstrap CSS ninja.

The position can be either a part-time or full-time position. Must be able to work in our Midtown, NYC office. No other offers will be considered.

Job Requirements

Has professional experience as a developer (3+ years of experience)
Responsive mobile development: either Bootstrap or Foundation CSS
PHP, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Javascript
WordPress: build themes, layouts and use best-practices
Ability to learn new things fast
Cross browser testing
Can work full-time in our New York City office

Optional but desired skills

Understanding of web frameworks, like Laravel
Strong understanding of web development with API-feed data

Ability to effectively communicate your work with both technical and non-technical peers.
