Associate Director, Web Projects - Remote

We are hiring a full-time Associate Director, Web Projects, that loves digital strategy, client relationships, website development, and start-to-finish project management.

The Day-to-Day

The Associate Director, Web Projects will work with our Design Director to lead a fantastic team of designers, developers, and writers through website development projects that drive growth for the companies we serve. They will be the main point of contact for website projects, present monthly roadmaps, create videos, and send recap emails that keep our client in-the-know as the project progresses. They will understand the strategy behind our work and connect it to the client's business goals to explain the “why” for our actions.

They'll get to apply in-depth knowledge of agile project management, scrum, website development, client communications, and content management systems. The role will also include leading the strategy on conversion rate optimization, information architecture, inbound marketing, data interpretation, and SEO.

Core Capabilities:

 

  • Project management experience

    • 5+ years of website project management (relative experience will be considered)
    • Run successful internal stand-ups
    • Build and manage the project sprints and timeline
    • Adapt sprints and timelines within scope as real-time changes occur such as extra revisions, team members being out of office, etc.
    • Ability to deliver kind, value-driven client service, while keeping the project in scope 
    • Use project management software to enter detailed tasks for the team
    • Have run multiple website projects from start to finish, simultaneously
    • Detailed and organized person who is great at capturing client information, sending recap emails, and creating descriptive project tasks
  • Web Strategy & Marketing Knowledge
    • Improve conversion rate optimization
    • Create information architecture that meets the needs of the client’s audience
    • Have a strong understanding of UI/UX
    • Skilled at SEO
    • Hands-on experience with content management systems like WordPress and HubSpot (both are a plus!)
    • Managing and reporting using analytics; use data from sources such as Google Analytics and Hubspot to articulate a decision or concept.
    • Knowledge of inbound marketing

 

  • Client Communications
    • Run value-driven client meetings
    • Can talk clients through all aspects of the website project, whether they are a technical or non-technical audience
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills that allow you to explain “the why” of our actions

  • Ability to work with a MacBook and Google Suite 
  • Experience working in an agency, or similar structure
  • Willing to meet our certification requirements
  • A desire for ongoing learning in the field of digital marketing and analytics
  • Self-starter
  • Must be remote within the US only and be able to work 9 am - 6 pm EST

Extra Credit for being:

  • Scrum certified or have other project management certifications
  • Hubspot or Salesforce Admin
  • Figma working knowledge
