Outsell Inc. predicts that companies will shift a collective 65 billion dollars away from traditional advertising to internal web based methods, such as company website improvements and online marketing efforts. In an interview with Forbes Magazine, Anthea Stratigos the owner of Outsell Inc., explained that 65 billion even in an age of trillion dollar bailouts is a huge figure. To put it in perspective, Anthea Stratigos explained that the total combined TV and cable advertising revenue is 66 billion dollars for 2009. Page content, Web analytics, search engine optimization and web design will be the destination target of this shift away from traditional forms of advertising.
