Sales Operations Specialist - Charlotte, NC



Overview:
We are seeking to hire a Sales Operations Specialist to work full-time in our Charlotte, North Carolina office. We are seeking an experienced B2B sales practioner with sales operations and sales enablement experience to provide consulting, strategy, and sales program execution for our clients. This position will help clients improve how they nurture sales leads, communicate throughout the sales process, and how they employ technology to improve sales results. Experience with digital marketing or B2B marketing would be a plus.

We are in the process of expanding our marketing and sales teams as we grow. The position would work collaboratively with our marketing teams to provide strategy, execution, support, and consulting for our clients.

Experience:
We are seeking someone with at least 3 years of experience in B2B sales or sales operations or sales enablement who understands the lead nurturing process and has strong communication and analytical skills. The candidate should also be versed in Salesforce. Ideally, the candidate would be a Salesforce admin OR Salesforce-certified OR Pardot (Salesforce Marketing) certified OR HubSpot Sales certified.

Creative, analytical, and clear communicator:
This is a creative and analytical position. The position also requires clear communication and organization skills. We are seeking a well-balanced individual that would love to play a key role in helping our clients improve their sales enablement, sales operations, lead nurturing, and marketing-to-sales handoff process.

Core responsibilities:


  • Work primarily with B2B technology companies that have a long buying cycle, high price point, and a group buying decision process
  • Provide consulting to client sales programs
  • Set up lead segmentation and scoring systems
  • Create and run email tests to improve outreach effectiveness
  • Create custom Salesforce objects to improve CRM segmentation
  • Build and create nurture programs
  • Set up and provide reporting on sales content and nurture campaign performance
  • Provide training to SDRs on high-value communications
  • Help improve the marketing to sales handoff
  • Improve how client use Salesforce for lead nurturing, prospecting, email campaigns, analytics, reporting, and sales pipeline improvements
  • Sales enablement execution using Salesforce, Linkedin, advertising, content, and marketing automation
  • Content strategy for the sales journey
  • Lead management
  • CRM segmentation
  • Personas and ideal buyer profile development
  • Consulting on messaging

Essentials:


  • Great communication and client-facing skills
  • B2B sales experience: 3+ years
  • Lead nurturing, marketing, sales operations, OR sales enablement experience
  • Salesforce administration
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills

We are seeking an individual that embodies our passion for ongoing learning. We are open to candidates that may need to gain new skills for this role. We expect the final candidate to gain 5-6 HubSpot, Salesforce, and/or Google certifications within the first 8 months on the job and a Salesforce admin certification within the first year. We also expect that this candidate will be open to learning and becoming a champion for Ironpaper's methodologies for marketing, sales, content, and management. Additionally, this position will require someone that will continuously learn and gain new and diverse skills over time.
